The Saginaw Future Inc. Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center are presenting a training seminar to share what it takes to get a foot in the door as a vendor with the State of Michigan.
If you have pulled into a State highway rest stop, you have seen the work of vendors who have won contracts with the State of Michigan. From the crews that clean the buildings, mow lawn and remove trash, to the cartons of hand soap, paper products and cleaning supplies used inside – all are provided by private vendors.
Each year the State offers more than 1,300 contracts valued at more than $16 billion. Representatives from the State of Michigan Department of Management & Budget will provide the knowledge on how to win those contracts with topics on: How to do business with State government agencies; How to become a registered vendor; How to bid on State contracts; and Learn about State resources.
